GARRETT TURBOCHARGERS AND KITS

The lists in the links on the left are the most popular. If the turbocharger or kit you require is not on the list, please contact us here: info@speedelite.co.za

GT v. T - What's The Difference?

The GT has fewer components, less drag though the speed range, more durability, increased load bearing capacity of up to 35%, increased efficiency and more wheel trims, enabling a more accurate match of turbocharger to engine and therefore optimum performance.

Ball Bearing v. Journal Bearing

The ball bearing has significant performance improvements to the turbocharger. It provides up to 15% improvement in turbo response converting to quicker 0-100kmph, reduced oil flow, improved rotor dynamics and durability.

Turbocharger or Supercharger?

A turbocharger is more versatile, allows greater flexibility in installation, more efficient (the turbo uses energy that is otherwise wasted through the tailpipe, where a supercharger has high parasitic drag since the power to drive it comes off of the crankshaft), it's more durable - only one moving part and no pulleys, belts or geared transmissions.
